Creating packaging for the products
After finalising the products and sending off the final artwork, it was time for me to think about some other elements such as the packaging to help display more information for example including the prices as it is good to add clear prices asa sometimes customers will want to avoid asking due to feeling awkward.
I also feel th euse of packaging to helps add to the overall product and feel it really can look effective. The idea of my packaging is to not be to expensive as that will add to the cost so wanted to keep it cheap as possible. Therefore i created these label design with the main pattern however just changed the prices one for the pencil case and one for the tote bag. I love these labels as i feel they are simple and yet tell just the right amount of information. To make these i will print them onto high quality card and will hole punch and tie with ribbon to reduce plastic usage.
As for the second lot of packaging that you can see i've created these long orange bands that will be printed onto A3 and cut individually to then wrap around the notepads. For the design i chose the bright orange that i picked out from the leopard print of the design. I chose this to help contrast against the design and make it stna dout. As for the actual graphics i chose to use my collections logo which i created specifically for this collection. I chose to keep it simple to help elevate and show off the product.
Overall i love this packaging and can't wait to get it printed and organised on the final artwork to see how it looks as the final product.
